Day-by-Day
Day 1
Met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your boutique Nairobi hotel. Evening welcome dinner with your Travana host to walk through the days ahead.
Day 2
Drive south through Maasailand to Amboseli, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. As the day cools, watch elephant herds drift across the marshland with Kilimanjaro in the distance.
Day 3
Dawn and late-afternoon game drives in search of big tuskers, lion, cheetah, and over 400 bird species. Optional visit to a Maasai manyatta to meet the community.
Day 4
Light-aircraft transfer to the Mara, landing on a bush airstrip. After lunch, head out for your first Mara game drive — open plains, river crossings, and big-cat country.
Day 5
A full day exploring the Mara's reserves and conservancies. Optional hot-air balloon flight at first light, followed by a champagne bush breakfast.
Day 6
Final morning game drive and brunch, then fly back to Nairobi for international connections. Day-room available for long layovers.
